Evolving to Independence is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Charlotte, NC. Our mission is to promote wellness, self-advocacy, and opportunities for independence to underserved young adults. We believe that all young adults should have the opportunity to succeed in life, regardless of their background or circumstances. We achieve this by providing case management and behavioral services that teach life skills through peer and community interactions. Our goal is to decrease the percentage of young adults who end up homeless or involved with the criminal justice system.
Our organization was founded by a passionate individual who saw a need for more resources and support for at-risk young adults in the Charlotte area. We understand that transitioning into independent living can be difficult for young adults who may not have had the same opportunities as others. That's why we're dedicated to providing the tools and resources that young adults need to gain independence and succeed in life. We believe that with the right support and guidance, young adults can achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
